ELFOAM Product Features

ELFOAM products are rigid, closed cell polyisocyanurate foams similar to but higher performing than polyurethane foams. ELFOAM is produced in a variety of densities and sold as blocks, sheets, and fabricated parts. Outstanding thermal and moisture resistance make ELFOAM products highly effective insulating materials.

ELFOAM is also widely used in composite sandwich construction due to its fire resistance, strength-to-weight ratio and broad resin/adhesive compatibility. Carvers and sculptors frequently utilize ELFOAM products as well due to its machinability and dimensional stability. Finally ELFOAM’s wide temperature range makes it very versatile over a number of processing and operating environments.
